In a modern day mirroring of the first story, a group of professors now inhabiting Forbeck's castle seek a new form of education through the use of the imagination, under the guidance of a guru named Guarini. The last segment depicts a Wagnerian fantasy landscape of kings and dragons, which arises from the imagination of the children of some of the professors at the school."

Count Forbek builds his castle on the eve of the First World War, and uses it to start a utopian community with his friends upon the conclusion of the war. In the present day, the castle, now a school and conference center, is the setting for a love triangle during an educational conference. While the adults engage in romantic games, the children staying at the castle play their own game of freeing prisoners from the castle dungeons."
