  • "A Count opens a temple of happiness and starts to re-educate his friends. Dense fantasy which never really explains itself."
  • "Divided into three narratives. First section is set around the first decade of the twentieth century in the Ardennes, where Count Forbeck unveils his architect's design for a utopian city. In a modern day mirroring of the first story, a group of professors now inhabiting Forbeck's castle seek a new form of education through the use of the imagination, under the guidance of a guru named Guarini. The last segment depicts a Wagnerian fantasy landscape of kings and dragons, which arises from the imagination of the children of some of the professors at the school."
  • "Three intertwined tales set in a fantastic castle in the Ardennes forest. Count Forbek builds his castle on the eve of the First World War, and uses it to start a utopian community with his friends upon the conclusion of the war. In the present day, the castle, now a school and conference center, is the setting for a love triangle during an educational conference. While the adults engage in romantic games, the children staying at the castle play their own game of freeing prisoners from the castle dungeons."

  • "Fiction. Fable.
  • "Divided into three narratives, this is a bewitching allegory contrasting the accounts of a rich man (Ruggero Raimondi) constructing a "temple of happiness" around the time of World War I, and a seminar on education being held at that location decades later."
