Proceedings of a general court martial for the trial of Brevet Brig. Gen. George Talcott : colonel of the Ordnance Department, convened at Washington, June 23, 1851, by order of the President of the United States

Talcott was charged with violation of the 132d article of the regulations for the government of the Ordnance Department, willful disobedience of orders and instructions, purchasing a large quantity of ordnance stores which he knew were not needed for the public service, and fraudulent concealment and willful falsehood in respect to the execution by Anderson of the order of Huger to Carmichael.
