"A historical and spy novel first published by Arkham House in 1985. The novel concerns an offer made to H. P. Lovecraft by a fascist sympathizer, George Sylvester Viereck, to write a political tract in the nature of an American "Mein Kampf". In return, Viereck promises the publication of a volume of Lovecraft's stories. It also involves a spy and espionage submarine mission by proto-Nazis in Marblehead, Massachusetts"
