Little Red Riding Hood

This comic verse is a variation on the traditional story: Red Riding Hood loiters on the way to reluctantly run an errand for her slovenly mother and the wolf eats both Grandmother and Red. Also contains some political references to Sir Robert Peel, the driving force in the creation of the modern London police force - "Bobbies."
