Si tratta di un gruppo di grandi industriali che, d'accordo col governo, rappresentato dal misterioso EK, si dedica a preparazione ed attuazione di un piano segretissimo. La musica richiama alla finestra il direttore generale Bruster, il quale, attratto dalla graziosa figura di Rosamaria, le getta un bigliettino, dandole appuntamento davanti all'albergo; l'accoglierà una Mercedes 220 azzurra. Ma anche il direttore Konrad Hartog ha una Mercedes azzurra, ed è lui che sorride a Rosamaria, la conduce in un cabaret, e poi le ammobiglia un appartamento. Il piano segreto del "cartello delle stuoie isolanti" richiama l'attenzione di certi ambienti francesi che mandano in Germania Alphonse Fribert, il quale cercherà di avere dei proficui contatti coi promotori. Egli viene introdotto negli ambienti degli industriali tedeschi da un amico di Marga, sorella del direttore Hartog. L'ingresso di Fribert nell'alta società avviene nel corso di una grande festa, cui partecipa, insieme ai piu' ricchi industriali, anche Rosamaria, che viene molto festeggiata. Mentre il direttore Hartog, avendo appreso che Rosamaria, durante la sua assenza riceve altri uomini, tronca ogni rapporto, Fribert pensa di valersi di lei per raggiungere i suoi fini. Avendo notato che i ricchi amici di Rosamaria parlano senza alcun ritegno alla presenza della ragazza, Fribert, facendosene una complice, introduce un magnetofono nel di lei appartamento. Il successo della gherminella segna pero' la condanna della giovane avventuriera, la quale, ritenuta a ragione responsabile della diffusione di gelosi segreti, verrà ben presto soppressa."
