The Golden Age of Warner Bros. Cartoons

Examines the work of Warner Brothers animators, showing how the animators conceptualized and developed their cartoon characters and the plots of their animated films, and how they refined the characters and gags and why some animated characters were successful and became stars while others did not. Cartoons from Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes created between 1924 and 1964 are shown throughout to illustrate their points.
