"Profiles of Montgomery G.I. Bill and Army College Fund Soldiers"@en . . . . . "The Montgomery G.I. Bill (MGIB) and the Army College Fund (ACF) are important enlistment incentives to induce high-quality individuals to enlist in the Army. This report examines differences in participation and usage behavior of individuals in these programs. Descriptions of the MGIB and the ACF programs are provided. Tabulations present indications of differences by gender, race, entering educational level, and marital status for program participants and benefit users. The report also includes a description of who uses their benefits, when and where they are used, and how much is used. Regression analyses of the amount of benefit used for a sample of veterans who enlisted in Fiscal Year 1986 test whether or not there are differences in usage behavior for demographic factors, educational level at entry into the Army, and Armed Forces Qualification Test categories."@en . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
