  • "Following the July 1964 race riots, the Board for Urban Ministry of the Rochester Area Council of Churches invited Saul Alinsky's group (Industrial Areas Foundation) to Rochester to help them organize for civil rights. The community action group FIGHT (Freedom, Independence, God, Honor Today) was created, with an all-black membership (White sympathizers joined Friends of FIGHT). This documentary shows what happened when, during their second year, FIGHT confronted Eastman Kodak, the largest employer in the community, on the issue of corporate responsibility and the employment of minority groups (specifically, to hire 600 African Americans)."
