Three little kittens : [a tale for young children]

An illustrated volume of the classic children's rhyme, Three Little Kittens tells of three kittens who lose, find and soil their mittens. After crying to their mother, they wash their mittens and celebrate with some pie. This volume contains the musical score to the popular tune sang to the verse. The rhyme has its roots in British folklore tradition and is typically attributed to American poet Eliza Lee Cabot Follen, who wrote a more sophisticated version of the verse in the early 1800s.
