Index Soundex to the 1920 population schedules Oklahoma
The Bureau of the Census created Soundex index cards for the entire 1920 census, using two types of cards: the family card (arranged by the name of the head of the household) and the individual card. Information on Soundex cards includes: surname; first name; state and county of residence; city (if appropriate); age; place of birth; and whether a U.S. citizen. Each card also lists the volume, enumeration district, sheet number, and line number where the person can be found on the population schedule.
