Papers, chiefly 1960-1968, of this journalist who worked for the Associated Press in Washington from 1945 until his move to U.S. News and world report in 1968. A folder of correspondence, 1950-1968, chiefly concerns his work, and contains a photocopy of a TLS, 1963 Sept. 12, from Richard Nixon about an article Edson wrote about a photographer. Subject files contain notes, clippings, interview transcripts, article drafts about U.S. politics, especially the 1964 and 1968 elections. Individual files concern Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Barry Goldwater, Bill Moyers, and other political figures.
