A colonial woman : the life and times of Mary Braidwood [Wilson] Mowle, 1827-1857
An account of the colonization and early settlement of New South Wales, using excerpts of the diary of Mary Braidwood Wilson, daughter of Thomas Braidwood Wilson, surgeon on several convict ships to Australia. She married Stewart Mowle in 1844. This volume also contains accounts of several other early Australian families, some of which were the Archer, Coghill, Nicholson and Hudspeth families.
