Eubie Blake portrait collection

Views of pianist and composer Eubie Blake dated between 1925 and 1980. Collection includes half and three-quarter length studio portraits (publicity stills), many of which were autographed in the 1920's. Collection also includes Blake in group portraits at a variety of events with his wife, Billy Taylor, Ruth Ellington, Fat's Waller's Son Maurice, Josephine Premice and other unidentified people. Other portraits include Blake age 12 with Howard "Hops" Johns, with an unidentified man and Blake in his later years performing on stage.
