  • "Correspondence (2 letters), dated 1859 and undated. The first letter, which is addressed to the Township Treasurer of Lyon (Ionia County, Mich.), concerns leaving county funds with A. Chubb's brother, Franklin Chubb, while the former is out of town, undated [before 1859]. The second letter by Amos E. Turner concerns keeping a cow of Franklin Chubb (who is noted as being deceased) as compensation for damages done by the latter, dated July 15, 1859. Also included are two typed transcriptions of the originally handwritten letters."
