Some account of the early generations of the Winthrop family in Ireland

Adam Winthrop lived in Lavenham, Suffolk, England in 1498, and married Jane Borton. He is the earlier ascertained linkage between the New England Winthrop family and the Irish Winthrop family. His son, Adam Winthrop (1498-1562), married twice; the Irish family descended from a son of the first marriage, and the New England family from a son of the second marriage. This pamphlet deals chiefly with the Irish family.
