Inside the Actors Studio

Host James Lipton conducts a twenty-seven part series of in-depth interviews before a live audience with a selection of world's (mainly America's) leading actors and actresses, as well as directors/producers and composers. Each person interviewed talks about his or her life, career and colleagues, as well as their individual methods of working. Each interview is enhanced with film segments, video segments and still photographs from the life and work of each interviewee. The interviews are followed by question and answer sessions with the audience.
