A Christmas tale. Little Miché met the Sea King along the California shore. The Sea King granted him an unlimited series of one wish. The provisio was that at the next wish, what was wished for before would vanish. Miché had a series of almost disastrous adventures when he wished for something else when he still needed the present item. Later his family had similar disasters with wishes. Miché met the Sea King again who told him that having everything one wished for might not be good. With illustrations of episodes in the story.
