Low back and neck pain causes and conservative treatment
By Paul C. Williams, Gaston Episcopal Hospital, Dallas, Texas. The purpose of this book is to point out the actual mechanical alterations of the spine which are the primary causes of low back and neck pain, and to minimize the false, prevalent idea that these are the result of mental anxiety or tension. It is written in lay terms so that it can be read and reread until the principles involved are understood. It would require almost one hour of the physician's time to explain this material, even in an abbreviated form. After the diagnosis has been made and explanation of the x-ray changes given.
