Fire in the mind

In February 1992, after 12 years of bitter war, the people of El Salvador celebrated a peace agreement between the government and the guerillas of FMLN (the National Liberation Front). As Latin American societies struggle to come to terms with their problems many demand fundamental structural change in their society, in short revolution. In countries like El Salvador some of these demands are being addressed, but for others in the region revolution remains a burning issue, a fire in the mind. Includes El Salvador, Peru, Mexico, Cuba and Nicaragua.
