"Comic strip entitled "Peter Rabbit" drawn by Harrison Cady for the New York Tribune newspaper and its syndicate for publication on June 5, 1921. The strip was based on the character of Peter Rabbit created by Thornton W. Burgess and further developed by Cady to include his wife, Hepsy, and two children, who both answered the name of Petey, 1920-1948. The subject of this strip, which is subtitled, "He tries to shine as a 'fancy dresser' but old Mr. Possum gathers the laurels," depicts Peter Rabbit acquiring a new fashionable suit and then as a consequence of a prank he loses the suit to J. Possum."
