Retreat and decision
Jesus retreats from the threats of Herod and the demands of the multitudes and prepares Himself and His followers for the trials to come. When Peter declares "You are the Christ," Jesus teaches the Disciples of His death and resurrection, and of their commission to carry on His work. Peter, James, and John witness the Transfiguration. Jesus continues to heal and bless those who seek Him. After raising Lazarus from the dead, He enters Jerusalem to the hosannas of the people and the distress of His enemies.
