Whether to remain on the reservation or to move into society is the choice faced by young American Indians today. In Milwaukee the Ignaces enjoy an upper class life style. A young girl travels between the city and the reservation to balance her identity. At a Hopi reservation, the Ross family returned, only to meet resistance in rejoining the clan.
