Human papillomavirus diagnosis and treatment

Program focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of cervical HPV infection. Diagnosis is by sexual history-taking and physical examination. Grading of the infection from mild to moderate to severe will determine course of treatment. Treatment modalities including cryotherapy, electrocautery, laser vaporization and surgical excision are discussed as well as use of antiviral agents.
