Breaking the silence, the generation after the Holocaust

Focuses on nine young adults, children of Holocaust survivors, who meet regularly to discuss the impact of the Holocaust on their lives and the need to communicate with their parents on this painful legacy. In addition to scenes of the children and parents at they seek to confront sensitive issues for the first time, the film includes observations on the Holocaust and intergenerational communication by psychiatrists, historians, authors and Holocaust survivors. Award-winning film by Edward A. Mason and Eva Fogelman.
