  • "In this, the first sequel to "Godzilla," the big guy battles the spiny monster Anguirus on a small Japanese island. The two beasts fall into the ocean and resume their fight to the death in the city of Osaka."
  • "The movie focuses on Shoichi Tsukioka and Koji Kobayashi, a pair of "fishing scouts," who are the first to discover Godzilla fighting the spiny monster Anguirus on a deserted island. The pilots follow Godzilla as he moves on to Osaka, causing havoc along the way. The men then help the Japanese Air Force distract Godzilla so that the monster can be subdued."
  • "A search for Godzilla commences, as even Tsukioka joins in on the hunt. Godzilla is eventually spotted by Tsukioka as approaches Kawito Island. Kobayashi arrives to relieve Tsukioka and monitor Godzilla. Godzilla goes into a canyon on Kawito Island, as Kobayashi attempts to distract Godzilla, which buys time for the Air Force to arrive on the scene with a squadron of jets. The jets fire missiles at Godzilla, with no visible effect, as Godzilla heads back out of the canyon. Kobayashi, once again, tries to distract Godzilla by flying his plane low; unfortunately, Godzilla manages to score a direct hit with his radioactive breath and sends Kobayashi's plan into the canyon side, which causes an avalanche of snow to fall onto Godzilla. Tsukioka, after seeing the avalanche, informs the Air Force that firing upon the canyon side with missiles would bury Godzilla in snow. The Air Force flies back to base to restock on missiles, once there Tsukioka convinces them to let him tag along to avenge Kobayashi's death. Meanwhile, the SDF quickly sets up a line of oil drums which seals off the entrance to the canyon Godzilla entered. The drums are shot, just as Godzilla has emerged from the ice that buried him, causing the entrance to the canyon to be sealed with a small wall of flames. Godzilla shies away from the flames, heading back into the canyon just as the jets arrive back on the scene. A long battle between the jets and Godzilla occurs."
  • "The movie focuses on Shoichi Tsukioka and Koji Kobayashi, a pair of "fishing scouts". They fly their planes searching for schools of tuna to radio in to headquarters to relay to fishing boats, who work for a cannery located in Osaka. The two pilots are the first witness both the new Godzilla and Anguirus after Kobayashi has engine trouble and is forced to land on a thought-to-be deserted island. The two monsters, locked in combat, tumble into the ocean as the two pilots rush back to inform authorities. Eventually, Godzilla makes his way to Osaka and the SDF attempts to lead it away using flares; the plan appears to be working until a group of escaped convicts crash a stolen vehicle into an oil refinery. The explosion not only attracts Godzilla to Osaka, but Anguirus as well, and the two giants battle once more. Their confrontation destroys much of Osaka, as Anguirus is eventually killed by Godzilla. After Godzilla leaves the devastated Osaka, and Kobayashi is relocated to a cannery in Hokkiado. At his new job, Kobayashi receives a radio call from both Tsukioka and Hidemi Yamaji, a young girl who worked the radio at the cannery in Osaka and current love interest of Tsukioka, the three decide to go to a inn together where Tsukioka is reunited with his old commander in the air force, Terazawa. The reunion is cut short with word of Godzilla attacking the Hokkadio fishing fleet."
  • "In this second of the Godzilla series, another monster Anguirus is introduced to fight Godzilla. Godzilla wins, but destroys Osaka in the fight, then escapes to a frozen island."
