John Eaton (d.1668) and his family emigrated from England to Colchester (now Salisbury), Massachusetts during or before 1640, and later moved to Haverhill, Massachusetts. Eaton Grange was the summer home of the Eaton family near Sutton, New Hampshire, developed in the early nineteenth century. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Montana and elsewhere.
