"Featuring rare interviews with Jorn Utzon, this program tells the dramatic story of Australia's signature structure: the Sydney Opera House. Part architectural case study and part tribute to the late architect, The Edge of the Possible documents in detail how this international landmark came to be-from its exhilarating inception, to the bitter political controversy that forced Utzon from the project, to its eventual completion. Interviews with four of Utzon's colleagues, shown for the first time, are included, as well as a silent film made by Mogens Prip-Buus, Utzon's chief assistant, showing construction at the site and the protests that took place there when Utzon resigned."@en
"Charts the course of the design and construction of the Sydney Opera House. Jorn Utzon appears in a lengthy interview speaking in English. Four of his colleagues, from the international and close knit team of architects he assembled to work on the project also appear for the first time on film."

"Twenty-five years on, this program looks at the controversy surrounding the building of the Sydney Opera House. It provides the first interview with the architect Jørn Utzon since he left the building site at the request of the then government. The program looks in detail at the design of the building and the ingenuity shown by Utzon in arriving at solutions, in contrast to the very conventional approach pursued after he left."@en
"The edge of possible charts the dramatic course of the creation of the iconic Sydney Opera House and features rare interviews with architect, Jorn Utzon as he reflects on his role in the compelling story of the conception and construction of the Sydney Opera House. Jorn Utzon was awarded the first prize in an international architecture competition to design an Opera House for Sydney. In 1957 he flew to Australia to begin work on the construction of the greatest building Australia has ever seen and, indeed, one of the finest achievements of modern architecture. Utzon was forced from the project in 1966 and has never returned to Australia. What defeated him in the end was politics. His triumph came with the 2007 World Heritage Listing of the building "as a work of human creative genius" and one of the 20th century's greatest buildings. "It stands by itself as one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity, not only in the 20th century but in the history of humankind" - Expert Evaluation Report to the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, 2007. The Edge of The Possible, winner Gold Plaque Best Documentary HUGO Awards. Directed by Daryl Dellora and produced by Sue Maslin."@en
