God among the children

Part 22 of a series on how the globalized world economy affects ordinary people. According to text on-screen, "In the 1990's a group of leading clergymen got together with young people, gang members, drug dealers, prostitutes and the police to tackle the growing crisis of violence in inner-city Boston, U.S.A. Their plan became known as the Boston Ten Point Coalition." The Coalition is an ecumenical group working to mobilize the community around issues affecting black and Latino youth -- especially those at risk from violence and drug abuse. The coalition's goals are to make the local churches more effective in the work of rebuilding the community by getting out into the streets to work with the city's growing numbers of alienated young people.
