This report incorporates commercial catch data & research survey results for 1978-2002 to estimate the stock status of cod in two areas of Georges Bank. It includes data on the Canadian & United States fishery and catch rates, estimates of recruitment to the fishery & stock parameters, calculated trends in stock biomass, an analysis of yield per recruit, and a prognosis for the catch, yield, & biomass.
