Also, annotated copy of POETRY AND POETICS FROM ANCIENT GREECE TO THE RENAISSANCE with letters to Hutton from contributors; and a catalog of books by Eugenie Droz, one of Hutton's correspondents. Correspondence includes family letters, many written to or from his mother, dating from their residence in Walton, from his undergraduate years at Cornell, and from Europe, Feb.-Sept. 1937; letters from boyhood friends and teachers who were friends and neighbors; photocopies of letters to Richard Robinson from 1946 when Robinson left Cornell to go to Oxford, to 1979; letters from friends, colleagues, and students. Professional and business letters about the Cornell University Department of Classics, the Renaissance Society of America, meetings, and publications; pencilled drafts of letters by Hutton; and postcards written to Lane Cooper when he was away on vacation.
