"David McCullough inaugurates the Joanne Woodward Chair in Public Policy. Mr. McCullough is an author, historian and public television personality who will lecture on "Harry S. Truman and the Ideal of Public Service". McCullough is the author of "Truman" a penetrating biography of the 33rd president of the United States. The Joanne Woodward Chair in Publc Policy is established through the Newman Foundation in honor of Joanne Woodward, a member of the Class of 1990 and a trustee of the College from 1986-1993.
