Amongst which are some of the best Works of the Italien School, formerly purchased for his Lordship by that well known Connoisseur, Dr. Bragg, At the Sale of the Celebrated Collection of the late Cardinal Ottoboni at Rome. Including a Valuable Assemblage of Dutch and Flemish Pictures, The Property of a Gentleman going Abroad ; also A most capital Descent from the Cross, By Vandyck, And other First-Rate Performances, collected in Spain, by Richard Cumberland, Esq ; Likewise That Chef d'Oeuvre, representing the Death of Chatham, With the Portraits Of several Peers and Members of the House of Commons, Painted by J.S. Copley, Esq ; R.A. Together with Forty-Two Capital Pictures Just imported from Abroad, and several more ; some being brought to Sale in conformity to the Will of a Nobleman, and others being the Property of different Gentlemen. Which Will be Exhibited and Sold (by private Contract) by a Committee appointed for that Purpose, At the Great Rooms, late the Royal Academy, No. 125, Pall Mall, On Tuesday, April 8, 1788, And following Days (sundays excepted) till about the middle, or latter End of May following, from Nine O'Clock in the Morning till Seven in the Evening
