Set in a peace-time Scotland, the Highland Regiment experiences conflict when a hard line tradititionalist replaces a well liked, but lax officer. The antagonism that results is gripping, leading to a believable ending. Superb acting by the principles, with good support from Susannah York, Dennis Price, Duncan MaCrae, and Gordon Jackson."@en
