Regeneration (Motion picture : 1997)

Set in a military hospital during World War I, Regeneration is about a real life encounter between Dr. William Rivers and poet Siegfried Sassoon and about the young poet Wilfred Owen, who with the support of Sassoon, starts writing his great war poems. Rivers, whose duty is to return shell-shocked soldiers to the trenches is tormented by the morality of what is being done in the name of medicine.
