"Dentro de las tecnicas de reproduccion asistida, la transferencia intratubaria de gametos (GIFT), juega un papel muy importante, ya que junto con la Fertilizacion in Vitro (FIV), son las primeras tecnicas que marcan las bases de la reproduccion asistida, ademas de que comparten algunas indicaciones y metodologia, la diferencia principal es de que en el GIFT no se corroboca Fertilizacion, sin embargo, el principio fundamental es el de hacer llegar a los gemetos masculinos y femeninos a la luz tubaria, donde tecnologicamente se lleva a cabo la fecundacion. En este trabajo se describe y analiza la metodologia, las indicaciones y los resultados, con la finalidad de conocer y evaluar el papel de este procedimiento es para ofrecer a nuestros pacientes, el maximo control de calidad y desde luego una mayor oportunidad de lograr el embarazo.(AU)."@es
