Patricia's moving picture [videocassette]

Summary: Patricia Garner, a middle-aged woman, had spent most of her adult life looking after her family and had become aware of the fact that her own personality and potential had been neglected because of her full-time role as wife and mother. Caught between changing social values and the loss of her traditional role, she was afraid of the future and approached it in a state of despair. This film shows how, after going through a period of depression, she found the personal and communal resources to enable her to take the necessary steps to start controlling her life, gradually changing her view of herself and re-examining her relationship with her family. Awards: International Film Festival, Melbourne; American Film Festival, New York.
