Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. In this interview Catholic Worker Jim Eder discusses life at the St. Francis of Assisi House in Chicago, Ill. He discusses what led him to the house and relates various anecdotes about working in the house, its guests, and its soup kitchen. He gives his thoughts on the Catholic Worker Movement and briefly discusses Dorothy Day. At the end, he sings a humorous Catholic Worker song called, "The First Street Blues."
