Describes the excavaton, dating, and identification of a Bronze age Canaanite ship which foundered off the coast of Turkey 3,300 years ago. Its cargo included Cypriot, Syrian and Mycenaean pottery, Egyptian and African spices, copper from Cyprus and silver and glass ingots. Techniques used by underwater archaeologists to uncover the ship are also shown: air suction, hand fanning, three dimensional plotting and stereo mapping.
