Many native Americans from across the U.S. and Canada meet throughout the year at Pow Wows, gatherings where Native American culture and life are celebrated by everyone. The children make a kachina doll of their own, and learn the folklore behind the dream catcher. The program introduces drums, celebratory songs, dances and traditional tales.
