Bailey's light

James Britton Bailey married his second wife, Dorothy (Dot), in Kentucky. She was the sister of his first wife, Edith with whom he had six children. James, Dot and the children moved from Kentucky to Tennessee and then moved to Texas in 1818. James died Dec. 6, 1832 near Brazoria, Texas. James' daughter, Mary (Pollie) Bailey married Joseph Henry Polley. Includes the story of their family also. .
