  • ""In 1971, world famous Cellist Clara Plank returns to her homeland Poland for the first time for a gala concert. The familiar sights and faces are so powerful that her mind wonders to that spring, 30 years ago, when that terrible war came to destroy her world... Spring 1941, young Clara, her husband Dr Plank, and two daughters were seeking shelter like other Jewish families when Nazis stormed Poland. They found a safe house in the farm of Emilia, their local grocer. Emilia was left all alone in the big house after her husband was taken to fight for his country and never came back. Under the horrors of the war and the agony of death surrounding them, an impossible love triangle erupted between Clara, Dr Plank and Emilia. The fragile arrangement, made only to survive, was tested again and again. Would love be sacrificed for life? Or would life be sacrificed for love?"--Container."
