Creativity In Secondary Education

The momentum behind the promotion of creativity as central to good learning and teaching throughout the curriculum is gathering pace. This book examines the political and educational context within which these developments are taking place. It explores current concepts of creativity and looks at some of the tensions and dilemmas that trainee teachers face as they begin their own teaching practice. It shows secondary trainees what creativity is, how it evolves and how it can be nurtured in various teaching contexts, so that they can develop creativity in their own teaching role and their pupils learning.
