Interview conducted for Voices from the Catholic Worker. Charles Matthei discusses his experiences with the Catholic Worker and with land trusts. He speaks about what drew him to the Catholic Worker after much reflection, how burning his draft card led to an arrest by the FBI, and knowing Dorothy Day. Matthei also describes various land use experiments, finally culminating in trusts, and the worker-scholar concept within the Catholic Worker. Interview ends abruptly.
