Cors Pietersen (1612-1655) married Tryntje Hendrickse, and immigrated from Holland to New Amsterdam (now New York), New York before 1638. Their son, Cornelis Corssen (1645-1692 or 3) married Marritje Jacobs van der Grift in 1666, and moved to Staten Island, New York. Descendants lived throughout the United States.
