Joseph Sitton/Sutton/Seaton (1745-1832) was the son of John and Eliza- beth Pendleton Sutton. He married Diannah Beck (1749-1842), and they had twelve children. He served in the Revolutionary War from N. C. Descendants lived also in S. C., Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, California, Alaska and elsewhere.
