- "The collection contains correspondence sent to Mrs. Herbert A. Snook (also called Hedwig or "Hattie") from Alta Rockefeller Prentice and her son, Spelman Prentice. As an employee of the Prentices, the letters indicate that Snook's work included the indexing and maintenance of the Prentices' personal libraries and genealogies, and keeping of the accounts for the Prentices' Mount Hope Farm in Williamstown, Mass. and their home in Bennington, Vt. Additional materials in the collection include cards, photographs, telegrams, formal invitations and clippings regarding the Rockefeller-Prentice family."
