Biological characteristics of sea-run salmonids from a spring angler creel survey on five Northumberland Strait river systems in Nova Scotia, and managament implications
Creel surveys are a common method used to assess biological characteristics of angler catches which can act as a basis for fisheries management decisions. A total of 533 angler interviews were conducted during a roving creel survey on five Northumberland Strait river systems to assess the spring fishery for anadromous brook trout, brown trout, Atlantic salmon, and rainbow trout.
