- "After a summary history from the creation to the 8th century (p. 1-52) the works consists chiefly of accounts of well-known Spanish families, with fine drawings of the coat of arms of each one. Long accepted as an authentic work of a Bishop Servando and Pedro Seguín (cf. N. Antonio, Bibliotheca hispana vetus, v. 1 (1788) p. 438) this work has now been shown to have been the invention of Pedro and Juan Fernández Boán, with revisions and interpolations by Pellicer de Ossau y Tovar.
