  • "Included are biographical essays, life and career chronologies, diaries, portrait photographs, obituaries, condolence letters and descriptions of funerals, some genealogical notes, holy cards, speeches, and writings on religious topics; correspondence, reports, writings, and clippings generated by their careers as teachers, nurses, and hospital administrators; and reports, correspondence, and memos concerning the administration of the order. A small amount of personal correspondence, and two citizenship certificates (of Mother Regina Lawless, 1867, and Mother Mary Ambrosia Sweeney, 1870) are included. All the Mother Generals (the two most recent ones are called Presidents) are represented.
