The year is 1874. Raised by Kiowa warriors, Boytale is 17 years old and filled with thirst for the blood of his people's enemies. Across the prairie at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 20-year-old army private James Rambling gears up for action as an Indian fighter. Though they don't know it yet, the two men are on a collision course that can only end in death.
